Outreach
Professionalism is another core competency expected of our trainees, including improving written and oral communication, accountability, and understanding the importance of productive interactions with others.
Trainees will have the opportunity to develop and execute a community outreach or science advocacy project. They will identify an area of need, develop a plan for an activity to address that need, obtain program approval, execute their plan, and provide a report on the outcome of their activity.
